The FREND Group was founded by Frank Ricci, Ph.D, C.Ht. and his wife Gwendolyn A. Ricci.

They had a dream to create a unique program that through education and motivation truly helps people improve the quality of their life mentally, physically and emotionally.

Since its inception, The FREND Group has been a national leader in positive motivation and has helped countless thousands of people adopt a healthier more positive lifestyle.

The numerous personal testimonials and organizational endorsements declare, loud and clear, the success these respected and dedicated individuals have garnered due to their bold vision and tireless effort to help others.

Their nationally respected program has helped entire families, from children to grandparents, from the elderly on fixed income to ex-convicts, major corporations, law enforcement, health professionals and government workers.

Frank is also a Cancer survivor, a victim of second-hand smoke, and has dedicated his life to helping other people avoid the same fate.

When it comes to motivation and how to succeed in life, Frank walks-the-walk.

Frank grew up to a poor immigrant Italian family who came to America armed with only a dream.

His Grandparents had twenty-four children between them and worked tirelessly to raise their family.

Frank's father was a Fireman who worked two and three jobs to support his family. He was also a Fireman that smoked and died at the too early age of fifty-nine.

His mother was a housewife who had a passion for music and was also known as "più rispettati cuoco" or "most respected cook". Italian women, who are known to be great cooks in their own right, would go to Frank's mother for cooking advice.

Frank inherited the same passion for life and music from his Mother, and hard working ethic for giving 110% to whatever you decide to do from his Father.

Because of his passion for life combined with hard work, he succeeded against all odds.

He served in the military during Vietnam and the Cuban Crises, and also attended President Kennedy's inauguration.

During his service, Frank entered a military talent contest and placed second in the world.

After his discharge, Frank entered the entertainment field and was respected as one of the world's best vocal artists. He was also a major concert producer/director.

Frank performed internationally, from Las Vegas to China, co-starring with some of the world's most famous stars like Tammy Wynette, Tony Bennett, Don Rickles, Wayne Newton and many more.

Frank has always been fascinated with practical psychology, so while working in Las Vegas, he heard that comedian Bill Cosby, whom Frank highly admired, returned to college and received his Doctorate. Frank said, that's a great idea, I can do that, and received a doctorate in in Metaphysics and a certification as a Behavioral Therapist specializing in motivational psychology and clinical hypnotherapy.

What is a Metaphysician?

The Doctor of Metaphysics facilitates a closer relationship between the work of a psychologist, counselor, and spiritual healer.

Metaphysics is applied psychology that has influenced teachers and counselors in handling emotional and physical problems of youth and maturity, and dealing with the sick and dying for thousands of years.

Many of our problems can be attributed to confused ideas and ignorance of our true interests. Clarity of thought and moral insight are thus critical.

By living day-to-day through the awareness of your thoughts, you discover that you are not a "victim" of circumstance. Instead, you acknowledge that life follows a pattern according to your conscious and subconscious thoughts.

What is a Clinical Hypnotherapist?

The Clinical Hypnotherapist is a therapist who utilizes deep relaxation techniques to bring about beneficial changes to treat numerous medical and psychological disorders.

In the 1950’s, the American Medical Association recognized clinical hypnotherapy as a valuable tool for health professionals.
